Ms. Sarah Ward

Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” -Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Hello! My name is Sarah Ward and I am both the co-teacher of 6th grade and the Resource Specialist at Sacred Heart School. As an alumni of Sacred Heart, I am so proud to have returned as a teacher. Sacred Heart is a place where faith, family, and education can work in unison.  Also, being one of the only schools in the Diocese to offer a resource program has made for an experience both challenging and rewarding.
I graduated from California State University, Stanislaus, with a BA in English and a concentration in TESOL.  Later I attended the Teacher’s College of San Joaquin where I earned my credential in mild/moderate special education.I spent 3 years as an intern, preliminary, then credentialed teacher in Stockton, before transitioning to Sacred Heart. I have had a wide array of experiences while teaching, and as no two years, classes, or students are ever exactly the same, I am excited to continue growing and learning on this journey. Thank you, and I hope to see you in the hallways of Sacred Heart, soon!
